FAQ
What matters before the first link.
Short answers about editing, review and privacy. For the binding legal text, the current German pages remain authoritative.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You answer five focused questions, refine the draft in Builder Light, and submit only when the page is ready to go live.
Can I publish anonymously?
No. Private previews are possible, but public pages need an accountable person and imprint details — this is part of the platform's trust promise.
How long does the platform review take?
During the beta, within 24 hours on weekdays. A human reads against the acceptable-use policy; if anything is unclear we contact you via the email on file.
What does the beta cost?
Nothing. The walking-skeleton phase is free for the first real tests — we want to know what people actually need before locking in pricing.
Can I edit later?
Yes. Each edit becomes a new draft that goes back through review; the current live version stays online until the new one is approved.
Which themes are available?
Four: Bürger (clear-edged, monochrome plus accent), Natur (moss green, sand, terracotta), Protest (Risograph misprint with high contrast) and Klassisch (editorial, parchment and burgundy). Each can be refined through theme tokens.
Can I export my content?
Yes. Static HTML and site.json — no vendor lock-in. You can move to your own hosting at any time without losing your content.
What happens to my data?
The app and database run in Frankfurt (EU). Magic-link tokens are hashed at rest, audit logs are pseudonymised after 12 or 24 months, and there are no marketing trackers.
Can I run more than one initiative?
Yes. One sign-in can own multiple initiatives. Multi-person editing with roles (speaker, editor, reviewer) is on the next-phase roadmap.
What if my initiative runs into legal trouble?
We suspend immediately, clarify and advise. Suspension is a pause, not deletion — your content and audit trail are preserved. Details in the German acceptable-use policy.
